Mini Macho Man

We made the plunge. The crib is officially a youth bed! Yes, I know we are a little early tackling this transition, but my back simply cannot handle leaning over a crib with a 30 pound bundle in my arms. So far, it's working great. We actually slid the open side against the wall (don't want him having free reign just yet!) and I slide it out whenever I need to lay Jude down or get him up. Sooo much better on my back!! Jude's pretty happy with the arrangement too, I think. He even helped Daddy and Granddaddy with the manual labor...

Shopping Buddies

I've been down in my back this week so Micah offered to take Jude and do some much-needed grocery shopping yesterday. Typically, Jude is not a big fan of this errand, but I have a feeling it was a little more fun with Daddy.  Especially since a balloon was involved!

He was so proud of his balloon! He carried it around all day!

Cincinnati Zoo

Last week was Spring Break at Western, so Micah took a couple of days off from work and we headed up to Cincinnati to take Jude to the zoo. What fun!

Getting Bigger Everyday!

Poor Little Guy...

Jude was diagnosed with RSV yesterday (in addition to an ugly ear infection).  

So we've been spending 10 minutes every 4 hours doing this:

  Isn't he pitiful!? 

 

Poor little guy. He's being a trooper, though–hardly complaining at all! 

At least he's gotten some extra cuddle time with Daddy...
